NOT including incidents that are mandated by work (eg a boss reviewing his empoyes browsing habits). What I mean is have you ever spied on someone when you shouldn't have, when they did not know? Have you ever gone through their browser history etc? Be it a friend, girlfriend, or family member?

Hehe. I was asked to fix the computer of a friend of my fathers which had tons of spyware on it. While fixing it I found out why he had so much. He had downloaded tons of porn site apps and activeX controls. hehe.

no except once when i came to fix my friends computer. i ran anti-spyware and found several porn diallers and various things like that. or sometimes autocomplete in the google toolbar. sheesh. if you're going to browse porn, atleast learn how to hide it!

Yeh, my brother in law when I was asked to help him out with a spyware issue. He always says he hates fat girls and would not date one... but judging by the sites he visited he had quite a fetish for them.

Yes , my Uncle's machine every time I have to work on it. I've found some pretty serious BDSM ****** on his computer every time I work on it. And every time I find the sites he's been on , I show my brother , and both of us have a laugh at his expense. It's always hard to keep a straight face when I give it back.

not on purpose, but sometimes I need to log onto user systems to help them fix a problem with an application and sometimes you run into stuff which make you wonder...

As a rule, I NEVER get nosy on a computer I am working on for someone else.
However, if I get my hands on a used comp. or hard drive, I will get nosy if time allows!

Got a hard drive once to reformat for a friend, told that it had belonged to the local Police Chief in that town. You don't EVEN want to know what I found in his Temp. Internet Files!
