Have you ever seen a Squirrel leap 6 ft from the side of the road to the grass?

I was heading to pick up my brother from work and going down this hilly neighborhood which is pretty wooded.

There was a huge squirrel that was getting some acorn action.

It saw me rolling down the hill at a modest 24mph and as soon as it saw me, it froze for a sec and then leaped about 6ft over a pile of leaves to safety.

Found it kinda amusing.

Kind of related, but when I was driving home earlier today, I saw a group of like 5 dead squirrel's in the middle of the road (all road kill), and the guy in front of me runs over one of the squirrel's, and it's head popped open, and stuff (presumably parts of brain) sprayed out of it.

Well, I have seen a squirrel leap over six feet off the bed and land on my shoulder. Does that count? I used to have a pet Fox Squirrel so I am quite aware of their jumping skills.....simply amazing.

We used to have a squirrel, raised him from a baby (whatever little squirrels are called), his name was Squirrel, we had him for a few years. He would stay with us, sometimes he would go and hang out in the tree for a few days, but he'd always come back. He was the coolest pet ever, he would steal chololate all the time, his favorite trick was unrolling a whole roll of toilet paper all over the bathroom. But he got sick one fall, and we figured he would come back before winter, he never did. 🙁
