Have you ever seen a dropped dually?

So how did it fall on its side? Wats a body lift and why does it cost $5k?

Apparently the lift failed and let the truck fall towards its' side and hence it rolled over...

Poor truck. Bet the owner is pissed

I don't know what's worse - slammed dually's or slammed Z71's (apparently the people who slam Z71's don't know what the Z71 part is)

Doesn't dropping a truck defeat the purpose of the truck? It's like raising a sports car.. or converting 4wd to 2wd..

i don't get people that lift trucks when the axle is at the exact same position. I mean...why lift the truck body if you don't have any more clearance?

I know some people who dropped brand new Mercedes ML55 (retail value ~$70K) while changing oil. Well, that was one very expensive oil change! 🙂

so they can fit bigger tires to look cooler

generally Bigger Tires = More Clearance

You lift the body to create more room in the wheelwells for larger tires. Larger tires raises your axles (and the rest of the truck) off the ground. "Lifting a truck" is a two-step process. Sometimes three if you throw a body lift in there. 🙂

Crappy single-post, in-ground hoist (ancient). That shop's lucky if that truck was their only incident 😕
