Have you ever saved someones life?

The only person who ever saved my life was a doctor, but they do that every day. Does anyone have any good life-saving stories?

Once I was getting totally pwn3d by some zombies and this sorceress came up behind me and nova'd the crap out of them. I'll be forever in his debt.

???????????????????????????????????

sorceress = female
wizard = male

???????????????????????????????????

No, but i saw a really fat woman having a seizure on a sidewalk once... it was right outside a supermarket, and there were tons of people around her and cars driving by, and not a single person stopped to help her... including me. I would have if i was alone... but i was a little too self-conscious to do it when nobody else was.

I still feel guilty to this day, and it's been like 15 years. I'll like to think that if the same thing happened today, i would act differently.

Fixed. Wizards and sorcerers are different.

yes I have. I've been in the situation twice...one lived, one didn't. So i guess i'm only 50/50. Not good odds, if your life is in my hands.

In Counter Strike...on dust 2

I was at 14hp and I turn around a guy is pointing an ak at me, just as I am prepared to die, my friend who had a noob cannon blew his head off.

Saved my life and I am thankfull everyday.

Nok, but my buddies dad was driving and someone driving an F150 wasn't looking up and was about to nail a woman. Neither cars were going fast, but the truck was apparently moving fast enough he felt the woman could've died, so he punched it and hit the front end of the F150 stopping both cars, saving the woman.

Not going to share the story?

Thurdsay, a concrete worker was about to get smashed by a bundle of galvanized metal. A careless forklift operator snagged onto it on a very crowded jobsite, knocking it off the top of a container.
I yelled at the guys from abot 15 yards away, "Heads Up, HEADS UP!!", from the seat of my equipment. The guy barely dodged out of the way.
I've done the CPR thing a few times, still looking for that 1 in 10 survivor.

A friend pulled me out of a burning building as I was passed out due to smoke inhalation.

There was another time that I won't talk about here, different friend and circumstances

Meh, I'm not much of a nerd. I was referring to the person behind the character, which I realize now is utterly retarded, because only the character matters.

I've never forgiven you either.

BTW: I lost some weight since then.

I have aided in the saving of lives when I was on the vol. fire dept. Those were the good times. There were other times where we would respond to an accident on I95 and find the people were dead on the scene when we got there. Sometimes it would be gory. That is why I am not a vol. fire fighter today, to much gore.

MMORPG syndrome, I'd assume. Guys play girl characters.

i didn't really save her life, but i helped a cop out of a car when it flipped over during a bad thunderstorm on my way home. i was on the phone with 9/11 as i was running up to the car to pull her out. after i pulled her out, about 14 cop cars and 2 ambulances pulled up at the scene within a minute and a half.... it was pretty nuts. they really take care of their own.
