everyone has all those random people from high school / college on their facebook or myspace or whatever friends lists, but it's one thing to just add people and maybe post a message on their wall every couple months versus actually reestablishing a real connection with an old friend.

I've reconnected with 3 friends from college over myspace and another 2 friends over facebook. we live far apart, so we're not dropping over eachother's houses or anything, but we reconnected after not seeing eachother for 4-5 years and now we get together at least every couple months.

I found that my kindergarten friends are the best. We knew each other when we were tiny buggers (some of us were friends until 4th/5th grade), and after 25+ years of totally lost contact some of us reconnected through facebook and now we went out for drinks every other month or so 😀

Edit: I just did a recount and it's really 30 years. lol.
 
yeah, when i moved here, there were a couple girls i was in band w/ in hs we went out to dinner a couple times.
that's about the extent of it.
 
nope, and I keep deleting the ones I know I'll never talk to/see again or don't really care to see or talk to
