not true. she could die by impact.

anyway, my comment is, if you wanna race, do it on the track.

two guys were caught street racing here last week, and one was driving ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD. now would that not kill someone if he were to hit another person head on? sheesh.

All of you that say this is partly the aunt's fault should shut the hell up! You have no idea that the girl would have survived if she was wearing a seat belt. Yes, she most likely would not have been pinned under the car, but there are other ways of dying, especially with a speeding car coming directly at her, seatbelt or not. Damn, I hate these people who put blame on the victims.

Like the asshole in the Mercedes that cut me off twice on my way home this morning.

my friend has a guy tailgating her, so she decided to drive really really slow, pissing him off even more. eventualy a cop pulled over the guy tailgating her, haha.

If someone tailgates me, especially in a nice car(lexus, bmw, etc) i start looking for reasons to just spasmaticly slam on the breaks.....not only would they jack their car up, but they could help buy me a new one, i ride a pos, but hey, it's wheels.....hrm, too bad there are no squirrels in the middle of the road......

Two cars were traveling fast north in the 9100 block of Dyer -- a light green Geo Storm with side decals in front of the dark green Acura, they told police. At the same time, the pale blue Dodge carrying the three girls came out of a shopping center parking lot and started across Dyer at Marie Tobin Drive.

hold on....

so the GEO was BEATING the INTEGRA when it slowed down and the INTEGRA tried a flyby?
what a moron.
he should get a very long and uncomfortable time in jail for this.

ricers are the worst drivers they just don't know their limits and think they are playing Gran TUrismo or something while driving. they should have worn their seatbelts, but more so, the ricer shouldn't have sped up. ricer=bad judgement.

This only goes to show you that morons that race on the streets deserve to die. A couple months ago I posted on this topic and about how pointless racing on streets is. Is that rush of adrenaline really worth killing someone or yourself over? Do your genitals grow everytime you beat someone in a pointless street race? There should definitely be stricter penalties for street racing/speeding. If you can't follow the driving laws then don't drive because you're putting people's lives at risk.

you could always say you thought you saw a squirrel or something, but it was actually a paper bag . . . .
either way, the person who rear-ends you is at fault for following too closely . . .

Not to defend driving very close behind someone (i guess that is tailgating) but ppl like u are the ones causing mass carambolages on the autobahn. U gotta get used to it or stay away from the autobahn - it sux i know but Mr. Benz is nerver gonna learn , they think by buying their big car the buy the left lane too.

Well the accident is not the aunt fault, but that the girl died is partly the aunts fault - as the driver it is her responsibility to ensure the buckling up of her passengers. She could have gotten into any other accident, without others involved for that matter, and risked the life of her niece anyway.
