Have you ever played a game so much...............

.......................that it becomes a bore? I have. I played my last game of Madden tonight. I have played since 98' and it has become repetitive and boring. *Maybe* EA Sports will actually do a good job on next years version, but I doubt it.


Sad indeed, but I can no longer enjoy the game. I even took a two week hiatus from it.


The really sad part is, I have no other games, nor do I plan to play any other game.

I guess this means I need a new hobby (and no, neffing @ atot does not count).

I suppose this happened at a good time, as I need to find a new job, a new car, and I will be moving soon, but it still sucks.

starcraft is still a blast for me, but that's likely because me and friends play it pretty competitively with each other.

but newer games do that to me. after the first 4 hours or so of BFME, I was so bored.

sports game (especially season mode) become repetitive VERY EASILY

i just finished GTA:SA while only finishing 55% of the WHOLE GAME

im already bored and i'll probably get another PS2 game soon

Well, since EA has exclusive rights to the player names in next year's Madden, I would say it will be the same game you are already tired of. Since they will have no real competition next year, I would expect them to update the rosters, make up some new gimmick, and maybe fix that awful bug that made people turn off the fatigue option. BTW: The ESPN one is quite good.
