That an online conversation with some or most people comes to a halt when you're not talking about something related to computers? it's like i have nothing to talk about with people....which sucks

give me some good conversation starters por favor 😉

things to talk about with both males, and females

that is all.

No when I talk to most people we talk about random sh!t (whats new, what are your plans for tonight, etc.)... it's been a while since I talked to someone about just computers on AIM.

Totally. I already know what's going to happen.

Them: Hey man, what's up?
Me: No much, you?
Them: I'm good.
Me: Good.
Them: How are things?
Me: Fine.
Them: Good.
Me: Well, gotta go.
Them: Okay, see you around.
Me: Yep.

And that's it. Fellowship, as far as I'm concerned boils down to that. It's all so petty, and pointless, and predictable. It's boring. I already know how any conversation is going to end before it ever begins, so why bother even having it? I could have that conversation in my head by myself and save us both the time and trouble. But I'm not bitter. Really.

i talk about computers on AT Forums

on my whole buddy lists, there's probably only about 2-4 people that know a good deal about computers

the rest are DELL-ies (read : n00bs)

i talk with them about random stuff

so true.. i feel the same way 🙁 .... seriously, whats the point of having such petty conversation when u know how its gonna end? hence, i prefer having intellectual conversations as they could be beneficial!

I hate returning to my hometown for xmas, because i'm afraid i'll run into someone i went to high school with. It always ends up being exactly like what Wally typed out. It's pointless.

I prefer to talk in person. You'll usually have something to talk about then.
