Anyone make more than $500.00 + dollars through selling a domain?

Back in 1999, I sold www.wattosjunkyard.com for $3500. It was at the height of Star Wars EP1 mania. At the time, the site was getting about a million page views a month. In fact, it was so popular I even got a big writeup about it in this book:

Anyway, I started the site in February and sold it in Sept because I just didn't have the time to keep it up anymore. I was in the process of building a house, family issues, etc...

The new owners kept it going for a while but eventually they lost interest I guess. Now it's some generic spam search engine.
