Have you ever had tunnel vision?

Shelby fired her gun at the same time that Turnbough fired a Taser at Crutcher because she had “tunnel vision” and did not realize other officers had arrived on scene.

In a high school basketball game, my team was down by 1 and I had 2 free throws with 1 sec left on the clock. Pressure's on!
I go up, make the first. Phew! Heart's a poundin
I turn around and try to relax myself for the 2nd shot. As I walk up to the line, I didn't realize my right foot ended up stepping across the line. My teammates are yelling at me, "get your foot off the line!!!" But I wasn't hearing any of it. My sole focus was making the shot and I shut everything else out. I ended up making the shot but it did not count.
We went into overtime and ended up losing.
I was distraught about letting everyone down. I could not believe I just effed it up so badly and that I wasn't able to hear everyone yelling at me. Rest assured I always checked my footing before every free throw from that point on.

Yep, tunnel vision happened big time with me.
