Have you ever had an RMA go bad on you?

Like say you RMAd a dying hdd then you got the RMA and the RMA itself was dead. This happend to me

Yes. I bought a motherboard from a computer show and it was dead out of the box. After FIVE exchanges, they decided to just refund me the full amount. I don't know for some reason my CPU kills their motherboard or something.

i've only done one RMA in my life and it went smoothly

Some stuff I sent back to Dell was sitting in a Fedex location for about 2 weeks. Just SITTING THERE. It's still on its way back to Dell right now, so who knows if I'll even get my money back.
