Ever have an idea... some kind of concept, an invention maybe... that you couldn't get out of your head? That you knew would work, and work better than what is out there today. And if you try and explain the idea, people just blankly stare at you - they either are too confused about what you're talking about, or try and debate against you why it wouldn't work.

My brain is going to explode...

Me neither. That is what is adding to my anxiety.

That definitely sucks. :(

I've had couple of ideas that would definitely be awesome... but they all appeared within a year or two of me dreaming it up... and without me telling anyone about them.

<sigh> oh well.....

When my dad was a kid, he said his teacher bashed the idea of the television growing popular. Back then it was B&W and sometimes in 3 different colors. Fast-forward to him arriving in the US in 1985. My dad looks around and thinks to himself "wow.... that teacher sure was a crack head"

So sorry your Ethanol car isn't going to be funded.

There are a lot of technologies for combustion engines out there that would improve efficiency and clean burn by 10-15%+, but never get the funding because all the money in oil. :( Keep trying to raise the money. You need to find connections to big investors. Don't use ATOT, we are mostly smart mid-class, upper-mid class people. No money for such a large venture. :(

I'm not giving up on it. It is just frustrating that I can't do any of the real work myself. I'm working on documentation right now, my next step is to build a wood model. Now I just need to find someone that is good with wood. :p

Junior HighSchool (1984) Marketing Class:

Task = Create and Market a new product.

My perceived market problem:
Freeze dried coffe was big. Problem; sometimes crystals/coffee didn't dissolve and floaty/crunchy bits were in the drink AND though a 'quick' coffee solution; it wasn't a "on the go" product.

My Solution:
Put coffee in teabags, then no floaties and completely mobile (easy to put in bag, briefcase, etc.).

Class perception: The class failed it because they thought it wouldn't gain consumer acceptance. The actual class perception problem (IMO) is that at our age, few if any of the kids drank, were interested in or understood how big a commodity coffee is in the world.

"Folger's Singles" sound familiar?

Too bad you didn't patent it and just sit on it for awhile... then around now you could demand royalties. ;)

You win the award for dumbest invention idea. The sad thing is, people would buy it because they're too dumb to realize what they're doing.
