First dates can be akward but it's all how you handle it. If your a freak and nerious nelly all the time then you prolly are gonna be worse on a first date. If you know how to relax then you have a shot at having a fun and enjoyable first date that you don't overanalyze and fret about. It depends on the person you are and the person you date.

Your loss is my gain. I'll drop anything that wants to poke inside of the third date too!

A guy with high standards? :Q

Surely you jest 😛

lol for all the people here that try to sound high & mighty, so far the poll is 0 yes and 5 no's for ANYONE having EVER had a good first date that didn't end with making out.

reference earlier.

If you don't want to ravish her on the first date, it wasn't a good date.

First date is to see if there is a spark. If you're not attracted to somebody then it is a bad first date. It's even worse if you take her out and she can't eat the food because she's "allergic to wheat/flour"

GTFO, sorry about your luck. Where's the check. Can I get a check here? Where's the god darn check!!!!!!! I know we haven't ordered, but where is the damn check!!!

I am intollerant of gluten-intollerance. And peanut allergies. How has natural selection not eliminated these things from the human race?

If you are making out with someone after the first date either it's love at first sight or she (and you) are enormous sluts.

I think it depends on how old you are. If you are 16, then probably yes. If you are 42, then maybe not.

Absolutely! 🙂 😀

Girls are really fun to hang out with without making it totally sexual. But for playing sports and doing silly stuff like sparring, hanging out with guys is more enjoyable.
For instance, when I hang out with my guy friends, we go cycling, bball, tennis, chess, go, computer games, drinking... but I have found girls have a slightly different perspective on things than guys do, and that is interesting to know sometimes. Definitely not all the time though.

Uhhh...I've had MANY adult relationships where the first date went great and we didn't "make out". Grow up. You aren't in high school anymore.

yes... my current gf of 4 months and i ended the first date with a hug, and didnt kiss until the second date.. we are quite happy

That is pretty much how all my relationships start and often last a long time. This really only happens when I feel really comfortable, but I guess that is a good thing. XD

About 2 months ago, I went out on a date with this girl and we didn't make out at the end. We had dinner, dessert and a movie <--this one was her idea (I hate movies for first dates).

During the movie, I put my arm around her because I'm just smooth like that. We didn't make out until the 3rd date. She was apparently one of those "good girls."

After 5 dates and no action, I stopped calling her--my excuse: her talking about her bf more than 3 times (3 strikes and you're out).
