Have you ever gotten an IM Spam before? Cell phone spam?

I was looking through my Trillian IM logs and noticed I got spammed by someone. Anyone else get this?

And on a related note, I once got a text message on my cell phone from some internet site selling cell phone accessories

I've gotten a crapload of IM spam before. I used to get it all the time but i blocked all the peopel who were doing it, and it just died down.

Yup, I used to get loads of IM spam on ICQ (although I don't use it anymore so that could be why). AIM spam died down pretty quickly, I wonder if AOL had anything to do with it...

i have at least 4 net send spam ads waiting in the morning for me when i wake up. On ICQ, i get about a dozen per week.

I used to get quite a few ICQ spams, but now it's only happens once every few months.

Just turn off the messanger service.

I accidently checked the "allow other uses to contact me" box in the aim preferences once. I got spammed with porn IMs for about a week before it stopped. Thats the only time it has happened to me though.
