Hornet>>Wasp>>Yellow Jacket>>Bee stings (weak)

Haven't been bit by a snake to compare.

I was stung by a hornet in my eyelid, which swoll shut for 3 days. I was attacked by wasps when I was jumping on a diving board - they had a nest inside it and I pissed them off - they nailed my neck!

I have been stung a few times, and it really does matter where they sting you. I was playing volleyball at the park once in bare feet, and i accidentally stepped on one. The little fvcker stung me right in the middle of the arch on my foot, and it swelled up and was very hard to walk. Hurt like a b1tch for a week or so.

Its pretty hard to get stung by a bee.. honey bees and bumble bees only sting when you really piss them off.

Wasps and hornets on the other hand will sting for no reason at all. I stumbled upon an underground nest while using a weed-wacker, and was stung about 15 times.

I had a wasp impact my arm at 65 mph. I throught was a rock for a long time, but eventually found the stinger after a few days of having a swollen forearm...

That was really uncorfortable, but my arm went back to normal within a few hours once i pulled out the stinger.

I think they found a reason.

Yup.

I recall visiting my grandparents in the South as a kid. My brother was petting their cow and had his hand near it's mouth. He started yelling and I ran inside and told my parents that the cow had bit him. LOL. In actuality, he had gotten stung by a bee. (NOTE: We were really young).

It hurt a little at first, but as my reaction occurs it hurts more. The actual dying part wouldn't be super painful supposedly, but I don't plan on testing that. I have no idea what it feels like if you aren't deathly allergic.

No, I believe the wasps and hornets have either moved on or died since my incident.

j/k - I have a small red spot on the back of my neck, but on my eyelid it's hard to tell - maybe a tiny scar.

Yes.

Got stung by at least 10 at one time. I was younger and swung at an old tree with a stick. Turns out there was a bee's nest in there and they swarmed on me. The bites didn't hurt too bad, but it was pretty freaky having hundred of bees attack you.

I got stung on the ankle one time when I was walking outside and for some reason that one hurt like a son of a b****.

I've been stung 4 times by bees/wasps/hornets. They really aren't that bad. Last week I was stung by a scorpion. Now that hurts like a mofo.

Yup. I have been stung about 3-4 times. Twice as a kid (once on the thumb <that hurt when I was a kid> ). Twice when I was older, it didn't even hurt at all then.

I was stung as a kid a couple of times, and remember not being happy about it. Nothing for the last 25 or so years though :)
