Have you ever found a four leaf clover?

So since St. Patty's day is tomorrow, I thought I'd create this thread. I was a little boy in elementary school and I was wading through our patch of clovers. A friend and I actually found one four leaf clover. It was pretty amazing at the time. I just read up over at Wikipedia about how they're created, possibly an anamoly or a genetic mutation lol. Very interesting to say the least. I never did see one again though.

I've probably seen a few of them in my life, but not that many. I probably haven't looked for one in over 10 years though.

When I was in Cub Scouts, the day camp that I went to had tons of clover in the grass. I think that I found 3 or 4 four-leaf clovers in a week.

When we were first looking at our house, the kids found a few within a fairly short time in the yard. We don't have as much clover now, though.

I posted a thread about this maybe half a year ago. I found my first one ever last summer 🙂

The best places to look are where there might be some kind of contamination. Maybe near a fire pit at a park, or some place that dogs might frequently urinate or defecate. Maybe near a stream that has sewer run-off flowing into.

I spent a weekend when I was about 12 looking for one in our 2 acre back-yard, never found a single 4 leaf clover. We did have millions of clovers though.

Numerous times. There is a patch behind the house back home where the clovers can grow anywhere from 4 to 6 leaves.

i always just split one of the leaves in half and boasted to the other kindergarten kids that I found one....it didn't work after awhile

I was in an art class and this girl made a project where she created a mini vault /jewelry chest and it was filled with hundreds of 4 leaf clovers. I'll be damned if I know how long it took her to find that many, but it was pretty neat to see so many together.

I forget what the project was called, something about storing luck for when she needed it or some crap like that...

I, for one, welcome our new 6 leaf clover overlords.

Ditto, except more like 15 or 20 years.
