Have you ever felt really, really stupid?

I just posted a thread (that got locked) about DVDs not ripping. Mind you, this is MY DVD (just bought Chappelle Show's Lost Episodes) and I'm backing it up just as I back up every other DVD I purchase. DVD is brand new, no scratches, no nothing; DVD Decrypter hangs at 45%. Took the DVD out of the drive, noticed a small hair or piece of lint on the bottom of the disc, I removed said laser obstruction and lo and behold it ripped just fine

Cliffs:
1. I'm an idiot for not noticing the crap on my DVD that kept it from ripping

i think discussing how you're ripping dvd's are a gray area best not touched upon in this forum here

there are a lot more other forums that can help you, afterdawn, videohelp, just a few suggestions...

I'm not looking to the solution to my problem anymore, it ended up being a classic case of PEBCAK, I'm just looking for another good laugh at the expense of others who've faced a problem only to realize it was human error.
