Ever had one of those days where after having cleaned your place and your walking about, you see your place with a first-time type perception?

Happened to me this morning. Place is really clean and even after having lived here for over 3 years, I noticed just how gorgeous the place is.

there are only two times I can say when my place is really clean.

When I first move in.

And right before I move out.

When my place is clean, it looks way better than when I moved in. (That's how it should be!)

In four years, I've replaced a lot of my furniture, thrown a lot of crap away, put up curtains and new blinds, inherited a houseplant, put stuff on the walls, put down a rug in my living room, added cabinets to store stuff, reversed the blades on the living room ceiling fan, and washed my windows (a few times, but they were definitely dirty as hell when I moved in). I've also had management re-caulk my shower/bathtub, replace my toilet seat, replace my bathroom and hallway light fixtures, and add a new ceiling fan in my bedroom. (They even let me pick out my own ceiling fan--I went over thier budget, but they let me just kick in the difference so I could get a nice one instead of just taking their noisy, ugly, cheap one.)

Thats the way to go, always wondered how much that costs. What does she do for $170 a month? (i.e. Laundry, dishes, dusting, vacuuming, etc.)?

Two women come in and clean the entire house. Bathrooms, toilets, showers, sinks, mop floors, vacuum, dusting, make the beds, etc. The house is spotless when I get home and even smells nice and clean. We have a 4 bed 3 bath house so it is fairly large and time consuming to clean. They don't do dishes or laundry though. I think they would though IIRC. I should look into that.
