Have you ever cheated on an exam/test or plagiarized work before?

Very limited amounts here and there long ago. People say that if you cheat you're only cheating yourself, but since I approved the action, I didn't get cheated, and thus nobody loses.

On a couple calc exams, I wrote a few tough formulas on my desk and covered it with my hand until the exams were passed out. Then I'd just erase it after I'm done with them.

I typed in the formulas in my TI-83/89 in HS/College Calc courses...
Also had a cheat sheet for art history course... i had to memorize over 100 artist paintings.. pfft that wasnt going to happen

highschool grade 11, physics final. i passed a friend all the answers on a graphing calculator. such a stupid thing to do. the guy ended up getting like 94% when his regular performance is nowhere near that. luckily i didn't get into trouble. i could have swore the teacher knew though.

i don't know what the hell i was thinking... maybe i was so drained of energy by the exam that i wasn't thinking... oh well

on our 5th grade history exam, the teacher by accident gave me her answer key.....i just kinda pretended to write the whole period, but passes it in unchanged when it was over. Next day, teacher told us how she lost her answer key, but despite that, i ended up getting a 97% 🙁

I'm helping my dept cheat on an exam that work is forcing us to take. We had to take this sh!tty course by STI in how to answer the fvcking phones (I only wish I was kidding that they spent $2k on each of us for the test). We now all know how to take a 3 minute call and turn it into a 5 minute call, while offering nothing new to the callers.

Since we could take it at our desks, after I completed my test, I copied all the text and left copies on everyone's desks (ensuring we all get 2 1/2 hour breaks).

Was contemplating cheating in this French paper. BUT saw a friend get busted and decided not to!

He had the letter under the one he was going to write. So he was just basically seeing it through his paper and copying it. Teacher came around and busted him 😛

only ever class I cheated in was French in high school. I was pulling a high C in French 1, and my parents were giving me sh!t for it (what with having grown up with french-speaking parents).

I cheated my way to a solid B+ through French 1 and French 2. I'd keep a small slip of paper in the top of my pen cap for quizzes/tests with vocab words written on it. I did my own homework and wrote my own papers, but I paid a friend (he aced French 1-3 without cheating) to go over all of my work before I submitted them to the teacher.

The annoying part (and how I justified the cheating) was that I can speak French. In classroom dialogue and oral presentations, I did fine, and I slip into all-French pretty quickly whenever I'm in France. But I couldn't pull it together to write/read the language.

I had the opposite problem with Spanish in college, but I suffered through it and accepted my B- with grace 🙂

For my Computer Science final, we had to show the output of our program's run results. I couldn't get the program to loop correctly so I just did the calculation with a calculator and used those numbers. Perfect score 😉

In Physiology class, we had to memorize Mink muscles and bones, etc. Anyway, people who would have the class first period would tell everyone else what muscles to study. Which is why first period's class average was something like 3/10, but every class after that jumped to 8/10. So yeah, teacher notices circled muscles, I lose 10 points. Oh well, it didn't affect my grade.

well I did cheat a fair amount in HS. In math and science all my notes would be in my calculator. and in math the teacher used form tests from the book so I just downloaded all 3 revisions of the tests of the net and did them the night before with the book and puts the answers in my calc, with work of cource 😀. for papers I would often take snipets from other peoples work then just modify words and arange stuff to make sence (not really plagerizing but damn close). and in other classes I would pay a fw bucks to a peson to copy the questions down while they were working on the test and give it to me before I took it.

Yes I was a slacker. Yes I could of done all the tests easily with studying or even without studying or cheating but why take the risk?

damn. that reminds me of another time I cheated.

junior year of high school, I took a programming class. I was really into computers, so I made an honest effort at trying to like the class, but I discovered that programming bored the hell out of me (good thing, too, since I had been thinking of going to college for CS). I ended up paying someone to write all my programs for me.

he'd handwrite them, and I'd just go in and type it line-for-line off the paper.
