Have you ever bought computer items off of eBay

Cause I know that a lot of people are against it because of . . . well, WHATEVER their reason it is. I want to get a case on ebay, just want to know if its safe

Does the person selling look reputable?

If they have lots of feedbacks and it's like 99% or greater, I don't have any worries.

I've sold and bought off eBay many times and never had a problem.

I did several years back when there were still deals to be found, but these days I just order from Newegg and the like. (Or the FS/T forums here 🙂)

Make sure the feedbacks are good feedbacks, not feedbacks selling $9.99 bottles of human phermone to weird internet stalkers. Otherwise, you should be ok...but I find that FS/T offers better bargains than eBay, for the most part. Minus 99.9% of the sketchiness.

strange way to get around ebay listing fees.

I actually enjoy finding items like that, or badly/wrongly listed items i need/want - you tend to get them very cheap, because fewer people want to bid on them. I just picked up what was listed as a 1000 megapixel camera for $15 total. it is actually a very very small 1.3mpix camera.
