too tired to sleep ... could not sleep last night ... because I was stressing about stuff .. and now I'm so wired and tired that I can't sleep ... I even took Valerian root and still cant relax enough to go to sleep ...
I was once so stressed out about some personal stuff that I couldn't sleep for about 72 hours. Twice during that time I passed out (not lay down to try to sleep, passed out at my desk at home) for about half an hour at a time, but that's it. I ended up going to work on Saturday, and leaving about an hour after getting there because I could barely move. Of course I got home and ended up not going to sleep for several more hours.
Future hubby is probably in no mood to work out any of my kinks ... luckily I have a massage chair ... so I think I will probably go use it ... dont know why I hadnt thought of that before .. guess its lack of sleep ... I'm a little loopie ...
Beast is right, Sweetrobin.
Actually any regular over the counter medicine that says "may cause drowsiness" can work.
Nyquil can really knock you out though. I use it when I have a cold and have trouble sleeping.
Hope you feel better and get some rest.
Try Tylenol PM. I'm 210 (ok, 215) and 2 geltabs will floor me. The problem is that it is a muscle relaxer, and if you have to get up in like 6hrs, it just aint happening.
Try it, you'll like it Its either that or kill about 3 gin & tonics...
I've alreay taken some Valerian root which normally puts me out like a light ... scared to take anything else on top of that .. if it wasn't for the fact that I have a job interview tomorrow I would go top my night off with some of the GoldSchlager in my fridge .. lol ... oh well ... gonna get off here and try to chill out ... you guys have a good night ... thanks for the advice ...
Counting sheep doesn't work. A cup of hot milk works sometimes....drinking a bottle of vodka would do the trick but I don't suppose you want to do that
Seriously though, taking a nice hot bath, and closing your eyes and drifting off should help. When you're in a relaxed state, get up, dry off and go to bed.
Damn, nevermind about hot baths, I'm going to have to go and take a hot shower now!
