These things are awesome... Nothing can compare with a 850-horsepower 1,200 pound car that seems to breath fire flying through the corners of a wet dirt track at speeds of 100 mph+!!!

You'd think they would be more popular with the "sport compact" fanboiz around here:

• Huge wings
• Lots of 'drifting'
• Manual gearboxes
• Tiny chassis

Off course, being RWD, V8s without low profile tires and big fart pipes, probably counts against them... 😕

More like real power and actual competition counts against them. Plus I can't imagine fanboiz liking dirt track racing. Too much of a redneck thing!

Yes, not in years though. It was entertaining when I went, just not my thing. Oval track racing doesn't really do much for me.

Stink? They smell amazing, burning methanol smells like fruit!

And ornery, they aren't manual, its a direct-drive one gear setup... No shifting, just put the pedal down and sling dirt!
