You waited a year to ask this question?

All my friends liked ska in high school so I have been to a couple. That "chicken" dance is probably skanking, a lesser form of "moshing" that is found in mosh pits at metal concerts. Skanking is still fun to do though, less violent.

i just heard bosstones on the radio, it reminded me

It's called skanking.

I went through a ska phase in high school... had "RUDE GIRL" on the back of my BG Bowl jersey. I think that was right after my punk phase, when I was a huge fan of Jesse Michaels (OPIV). Ah, memories.

I've been to so many bosstones concerts.
We used to hang out with dickie and crew afterwards.

I'm very thankful for that.

I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about it, but I'd still like to see a video if anyone's got one. Viewed out of context I imagine it has a bit of amusement potential.

speaking of ska, who hear is a fan of tokyo ska paradise orchestra?

They did the soundtrack to that weird playstation game "Incredible Crises" right?

I love ska, have been to a few concerts. But there's something about watching a crowd full of "outcast" high schoolers all dressing the same to be different in their dyed hair and goofy clothes dancing around in that retarded way...I just want to go berserker on them or something. I don't know....for some reason skanking pisses me off like nothing else. I want to start a ska band and devote a song to bashing it. Heh.

The only ska I could ever stomach was the voodoo glow skulls. Everyone other ska I've heard makes jesus cry 🙁

yeah, i went to a ska concert.

IN LIKE 1996 😉

That's what I was thinking. I had no idea any of those bands existed anymore, nor do I care that they exist.
