Considering all that's happened over the past 2 weeks, it brought this to my mind. Have you ever been robbed? I've had it happen to me 4 times over my lifetime. The most recent attempt turned out good. I actually caught the thieves as they broke into my house. I'm sure many of you remember that. None of them left without at least a few broken bones. :D I'd post a link to the article but I can't find it. Anyways, what happened was 4 idiots broke into my house. I introduced them to the business end of a baseball bat. Three walked away with a variety of broken bones, one ended up in traction. :) Doctor says he'll be out by June to serve his time. :D All 4 of them got 10-20 for armed robbery and B&E.

Anybody else ever get robbed? Anything interesting to tell?

EDIT: I found the link.

I got a graphing calculator stolen in middle school, that the extent of my experiences of robbery... Benn nocking wood ever since.

Yes, but luckily now whilst I was around. I fear what would have happened. . . .

I didn't have much cash, anyway . . . so there was nothing to get there. :p

I've been hi-jacked in school for my money and various other things. I've also been hi-jacked outside of school by the same individuals.

close. at the beach, couple of guys wanted my boom box. i was young then. friends dad pulled up right when they were about to walk away with it. they put it down and darted. did i mention they had a knife? yep, it sure wasnt a day at the beach that day (pun intended)

I was robbed back in '91 while in New York city, some little black boy clobbered me over the head with a sock full of rocks, I managed to struggle to my feet and chase him down, after catching him and taking my wallet back I called the cops, they chose to do nothing about it, I refuse to continue because it may incriminate me.

Was it really neccessary to mention that he was bl...er...african american? You are obviously racist, and deserved for this to happen to you.

(Hey, someone had to do it. ;) )

Maybe little things through school but nothing major. Someone tried breaking into my car few years back but were unsuccessfully, luckily.

My friend broke into my house while I was gone and stacked all my furniture in a big pile in my living room. I still need to get him back for that one...

Yup, was working at a gas station about 5 years ago when this black guy came in with a nice .38 special and put it to my head, I had been sitting down on night shift... He was wearing a hoodie with swimming goggles, and he started yelling at the cashier lady to open the safe or he was going to count to 3 and then blow my brains out, so valuing my life, I told him she couldn't open the safe (only a manager can). So he just took about 80 bux from the cash register and left, he was so nervous his hand was shaking. I didn't for a moment think he was going to shoot, b/c he was probably one of the guys I never carded for blunts (although he was yelling b*tch at the old lady, probably b/c she carded everyone and was a b*tch).

He then told us to walk over to the soft drink section where he was going to tie us up. I just sorta froze up and couldn't move, the old lady told him to leave and that she wasn't doing anything of the sort.

After he left, we tried calling the cops on the payphone, but the thunderstorm had knocked the phone out (we thought he had cut the line). She goes and locks the door, and the guy tried to come back in, and was like shaking the door violently, and then finally left.

Of course the cops didn't fingerprint anything and just strolled in about a half hour later after the phones were working again, and he got away. My manager reported that he took $400. lol... What a crooked world we live in, eh?
