So when were you last fisted?

My 21st birthday, me and my brother had a good fist fight and I had to go to work the next day with a perfect black eye. That was 5 years ago.

I doubt I would describe myself as having been "fisted" though.

Had my nose broken in class by a big angry Korean kid in 8th grade. Apparently he didn't appreciate a comment I made. I never saw it coming.

Sure, it happens from time to time. I generally do prefer contact (and pretty hard contact) for body hits, but I'd prefer not to be hit for real in the face. Oddly enough, I think it's happened most often with people who were good tournament fighters; maybe it's how they've trained their reflexes. Another situation where it seems to happen often is when I'm on my back on the ground; that's a hard one to sell at a lot of camera angles and I've gotten hit for real fairly often.
