Have you ever been on TV?

My daughter's going to be on Mission Organization next month. Which reminded me that I was on Sale of the Century in 1972, and I won $60. Which I used to buy some cookware, which I still use.

You?

"It's Academic" - quiz bowl type of show; I was captain of my high school's team and was on the show 2 years in a row.

yes, in the 90's the Thanksgiving Day parade that is held in Detroit every year was hosted by a local tv celebrity. With him, they always had two kids to explain and "host" the parade with him. I went to the audition and made it to the very last round. All the while, they were taping the process to show later on.
I was not the girl they picked, but the runner up. It was fun and i was shown on tv durring the clips of the audition process.

Other than that, there was a game show called Road To Riches that i was in the audience for my aunt but the camera guy always panned the audience and the host came and talked with them and he talked with me on tv too.

Finally, i was in an art show and they interviewed me with some of my work.

The first indy movie i was in just premiered the begining of this month so i am excited to see what will happen with it!

(I seceretly want to be a famous actress and always have 🙁 )

Go Lola! What indy movie? Can we go see it soon? Download?

Quiz Bowl matches in High school were broadcast on local cable. My grandma was on the Local 4 news as "The Halloween Lady" one year. That's all that I know of

Yes in elemantary school, we made the news by doing a schoolwide "electric slide" on the field.

It was so lame. 🙁

No, but I do want to go on The Price is Right before Bob dies. I better hurry up.

The dude has looked the same for decades. I think the only way he'll die is in an accident.

I've never been on TV.

Edit: OK, technically I have been when I went to see Conan O'Brian and sat right behind the band.

Once on national television, three times on regional channels.
All appearances were related to school life (high school and university).

Yes, once.. when I was like 5. I was interviewed because a friend of mine died in a house fire.

2 segments recently on SF area news in segments with Habitat for Humanity. 1 in Boston area when I was a math prodigy at Kumon math center about 10 years ago.

Yeah but I was like 7 years old.

My grandparents and other members of my extended family were on Family Fued. They got pwned.

I have was a extra on a local soap called 7de Laan (7th Avenue) for the whole off 2004, appeared on national tv for once a week for 40 of the weeks in that year. You had too change clothes between all shoots that did not need continuaty, could change pretty fast ever since then...

I was on TV(ESPN) during an Auburn/LSU game. I worked with Auburn's Golden Eagle, War Eagle VI ("Tiger") we had the cameras on us quite a bit. When Auburn won the game you could see us (the Eagle trainers) hugging, high-fiving the cheerleaders. 🙂

My highschool basketball games were on Cambridge CCTV and I made a short film that was shown on the same local station. I haven't ever been on a real for-profit TV station though.
