Have you ever been interested in living in a hallway?

I love Dark Roasted Blend! 😀

That said, some of those are strange but I have no problem with small spaces. In areas with high population density it makes a lot of sense. It's ridiculous to have a 1000 ft² bed room for one or two people to rest in!

Then again everyone is obsessed with driving a 3200 pound vehicle to move around a 120 pound person. 😉

we're entitled to all of that! PLUS as much useless land in front and in back of said homes, and plenty of pavement (ideally) to park said massive vehicle. It's my right dammit!

😛

Then again, that is indeed my dream. 😱 😉
But... that's what you get when you live life in certain locations. A country like the USA which has a massive amount of land, or a country the size of Japan.

I don't want the hustle of city life if I can avoid it when I get out of school. Not out in the middle of nowhere, maybe on the edge of a main city, where I can get to whatever I need without driving for an hour, but yet have space and distance between neighbors.
That's going to be awhile away though. Apartment life is going to be necessary for at least a few years out of school, the whole single 2nd Lieutenant thing, and likely moving from base to base.

But I do want a yard. Depending on location, maybe plant a lemon tree, and a nice garden full of fresh deliciousness.

If I stretch my arms across my apartment, touching one wall, there's about 25cm (10") until I can touch my other wall. The entire width is 208cm or 81".

I don't mind really... cheap rent and 5min. to a big JR station.

I suspect there are atleast a billion people or two on the planet that would love to live in almost any one of those.

My father has a place like that in Japan. It's actually not as bad as you'd think. It's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. It's a trick I tell you.

Some don't look bad. There were a few that looked to be 12-15feet wide. Same as an american mobile home.
