Yes, because my elementary school was devious. Kids at that age are eager to be fingerprinted. So we all rushed up to get it done. Now, of course, they have the prints.

That brings up a question though, are prints from kids still useful in law enforcement now that we are adults? Or was it only useful to law enforcement while we were still young? That is, do prints change substantially through puberty?

Same here, and I would like to know as well.

same here... when I was in 5th grade, we had a cop come to the school to talk to us about drugs, and just say no, and all that, and after the talk, the cop was like "ok, now let's take your fingerprints!" I just kinda went along with it because everyone else was.

worked in public and private schools and always fingerprinted. anytime, i've worked with youth, i've been fingerprinted.

i've done both scan fingerprinting and old ink.

A few times:

1. When I applied for a job at a camp;
2. When I applied for a job with the police dept. (in college);
3. When I applied for my law license;
4. When I applied for my real estate license.

I think there may be one or two more, but I cannot think of them right now.
