Simple enough - have you ever been arrested? For anything - speeding ticket gone warrant (guilty!), nonviolent protest, anything at all?
 
It's actually not that simple... do strippers stopping by at a bachelors party posing as cops count? Cuz wer were all cuffed n everything. :colbert:

Ya, I had the same thing happen to me. Except they were male strippers dress as cops who didn't take their clothes off. They even brought us down to the cop station and "booked" us and took fake mug shots. I think they took the prank a little too far when they made us post bail the next morning in order to get out, but that's the way it goes if you want to really make the most of a prank.
 
Nope. I live in Baltimore, the thought of spending even a night in Central Booking here is horrifying.
 
Yes. In college, we were helping a friend load a keg into his car. We were all under age and a cop spotted us so we were charged with possession by a minor. We went to court - I had no money and sure as hell wasn't going to tell my parents, so I had a PD and we all pleaded nolo. The judge basically accepted our plea and expunged our record 6 months later when we stayed clean. It was campus cops so we were released on our own recognizance without having to go to jail.
 
I think it's more a question of age than anything else. If you make it to 30 and never been arrested you're either still living in your parents basement, part of the 1% or, both.
 
1. For doing 114 in a 55 -$450 in fines - college days stupidity.

2. For being off-base during an alert (Desert Storm) in Korea - MP's arrested me. Just got back from 30 days in the field, and most of my stuff was in my off-base apartment... risked getting it.
 
Not sure...Was picked up with 3 squadron mates by the base police on NAS North Island San Diego while standing outside the NCO club in the parking lot for suspicion of smoking weed. They tossed us in the back of a van, took us to the squadron duty officer, strip searched us in the head, then turned us over to the duty officer who told us to get the hell out of there and don't get into anymore trouble. I was called over to NIS (what is now called NCIS) the following Monday where a couple of amateur detectives tried playing the good cop/bad cop game with me and that was the last I ever heard of it. Given that there was no jail involved or any further action taken I am not sure if it counts as "being arrested".

is should be "Kid... Have you ever been arrested?" Then I could relate the story of the Alice's Restaurant Massacre, with full orchestration and five part harmony and stuff like that and all... 🙂
