Have you ever been able to use Staples coupons at Office Max B&M??

I tried using a Staples coupon at Office Max because they are local competitors, and the people working at Office Max thought I was crazy. I remember people in ATHD saying that the policy was listed online somewhere at OfficeMax.com but I have been unsuccessful finding it. If it is there, please reply with a link so I can print it out and take it with me.

I also heard that it is based on the managers of the store, is this true?

yes i have. it was quite easy too. just walked up to the customer service desk and asked if i can use this coupon (presented it to them) and they looked it over and ok'ed it.

the Office Max near me had (maybe still has) a sign in the window "We Match Competitor's Coupons"

I do it all the time. It has to be an IN STORE coupon though. You didn't print an online coupon by chance did you ?

Officemax will match coupons from other stores.....as long as it's not a Mail-In Rebate. Instant Rebates on the EXACT SAME ITEM will work Ok........................btw, i work there.
