College was AMAZING to me... and I only went a few years ago... If you aren't immensely enjoying yourself in college, I feel bad for you : (.

Im not talking about being optimistic. It just occured to me that I've been doing this all my life. I remember when I was a young teen, I was thinking HS would be so great, I'd make tons and tons of friends, have parties everyday, always having fun, etc. Then when I got a job I thought I'd just blow my money on anything i wanted, cool stuff for my room, etc. Then when I was moving on to college I'd think the same thing about college, except I'd be meeting really cool people and I could meet some chicks. Now Iam in college and Iam thinking that I'll find a job, make lots of money, do some of the fun stuff then get married. Each and every single time my expectation was wrong. How can I fix this?

everytime i feel like i take one step forward it feels like i take one step back. 🙁

Things will get worse. College is going to be the best time of your life. Enjoy it because the next 40 years are going to be hell
