I was wondering, have you been buying any Spring clothes from your favorite fashion brand yet?

IZOD has released a few of their Spring 2018 products early last month. I bought an Advantage Polo in Fairy Tale, as well as a Premium Essentials plaid button down, also in Fairy Tale.

Fuck no...winter is still a few days away...besides, I wear pretty much the same clothes season after season...year after year. The only real change for me is that during the warmer months, I swap jeans for jean shorts...and shoes for sandals.

I got some summer issue combat boots a few weeks ago. The size is iffy, They're kind of small, but I'm hoping with thin socks and some stretching they'll be ok. The price was too good to pass up.

I don't really have seasonal clothes. Jeans and tshirt every day. well in summer it's shorts, but that's about it.

I hate clothes shopping, so I keep it simple. :p

Spring is a long ways away, we're not even half way through winter (weather wise).

I scored an M65 field coat yesterday for $10. Woodland camo. It was supposed to be $8, but goodwill always finds creative ways to screw me out of a couple dollars here and there. I don't push it since it's a charity, but it's kinda lame.

Oh, and you'll like this Pinky... A couple weeks ago I got an Izod thermal shirt for about $2. It's OD, and has some kind of decal on the front. I forget what it is. Pretty comfortable, but the sleeve cuffs stretch out when I pull them up. Definitely worth $2 though.

Dude...NEVER try to scrimp on work boots or your mattress...you spend too much time in the first...and not enough in the second.

I buy new clothes when I lose enough weight to make my current clothes useless or when my current clothes start falling apart. So like once every five years.

I second not skimping on shoes. Shoes, bed, monitor, power supply, vasectomy - not places to save pennies.

I generally agree, but I'd rather have ill fitting combat boots than pretty much any other kind of boot. Now tight boots is another story, but the price was so good($10 brand new) I couldn't pass it up. Worse comes to worse, I'll have some new combat boot laces, and I'll donate the boots back to the thrift shop.

Side note... Why the hell doesn't every company use solid braid bootlaces instead of the kernmantle design?! Solid braid(a la combat boot lace) is so far superior it isn't close. I can only assume they're trying to make a couple extra dollars selling laces, because kernmantle laces last a fraction of the time, and are harder to repair.
