Have webcams, how to video conference?

We both have webcams and dsl connections. What software and/or service (both hopefully free) do we need to video conference over the internet? It doesn't have to be super high quality but hopefully the audio will be clear and the video won't be too jerky. Is there one that can used in conjection with any of the instant messaging services? Thanks for any help.

msn/windows messenger has netmeeting built in (i think, it does on mine).

ye, mine does. just right click on his name and select start video conversation, then it might take u through a wizard etc and u shud be good to go

you can just use netmeeting, it's included with most versions of windows.
