I hate torrents... I always end up downloading at 2 KB/s and uploading at 30 KB/s... I don't like that... it goes against my cable companies wishes If they wanted me uploading more than I download they wouldn't give me 3 mbit downstream and only 256 kbit upstream.

Yup... I like the blood splatters... I like how you can move objects... and I like that the gameplay/feel of the game looks exactly like the original. I love how CS feels, and SoF2... I never did like the way BF1942 or CoD felt.

Do you ever leave it on for an hour or two ? 30KBps is what I end up uploading at most of the time and I get downloads up to 100KBps at that ratio. Use the Azureus client and you'll see how sharing works. You can hit multiple download sources if you are uploading to the same amount. If one of those download sources happen to be serving fast, then your download will be that much quicker. I always start out slow, but throughout the hour or two, it goes way up... depends on the torrent and its popularity of course. So open up to more uploaders and you won't be sorry...

game looks very sweet indeed. they did a great job with the maps. well just have to pray this comes out when hl2 does, HOPEFULLY in sept. don't get your hopes up though, cuz valve/vivendi is bound to screw something up, they always do...

At the very end of the video, the guy they're interviewing is asked a question (I couldn't hear it) and he says "uhh, summer." So I guess end of summer is still what everyone is saying. Looks to me like that have most everything working fine... might just be working on content right now. Finishing up textures, maps, misc. models, etc. etc.

*EDIT* In the middle of the video somewhere, I thought I also heard someone talking about a beta test that will involve 1-2 hundred thousand people. That's pretty large for a beta test isn't it? Maybe I heard it wrong.
