And I wonder if the OP even read the article

You have NO IDEA how parking in NYC works do you?

$400 a month is competitive for parking.

The more spaces the garage can fit, the better. There has been a parking problem in NYC's chinatown for years. The robotic automation utilizes space and time more efficiently.

Theres a garage that parks cars like a jukebox. Its been a long time coming.

This doesn't seem like an issue of lazy as much as machines being able to park cars more efficiently than humans
