I have a Tualatin Server Chip (PIII-S) 1.4 running 1.5 on a ASUS TUV4X (694T VIA)...if I went to a P4 2.4C or 2.6C will I notice a difference? If so what MB and what memory should I go with?

I don't game actively, but I do play NFS-Porsche Unleashed, Neverwinter Nights, and Quake 2/3......

My video is Radeon 8500 128mb at 283/283.

I use the same board at work with a PIII 1GHz. It's stable enough but the performance is underwhelming IMHO. I think you'd see a difference more from moving to a DDR solution more than anything else.

What do you do with your system aside from playing the games you listed?

Gaming is the highest level of performance I'd say I do. That's pretty rare too. I may get into Everquest if I can find a way to play the Mac version on my PC (10 friends all play EQ, but the Mac version only)....I think it's low system requirements though.

Rip my CD's to MP3's and soon DVD's for spare copies for my bedroom/backups

Office Applications/Web

Photoshop with 3MP images or less

I may get into stop motion animation.

Of course everytime I have gotten more 'power' I have done some newer things that I normally didn't before (playing games beyond the default resolution/color depth is the main one)
