Have to get an MRI in an hour...........UPDATE!

I've had 2. A little loud. A lot of clicking and buzzing. But I've still managed to fall asleep in them. Takes 45 min-1 hour

Be glad the didn't make you drink the 3 bottles of Redi-Cat 5 😉

man. i hate that stuff.. smells sorta like sunny delight.. but the texture of it and lack of flavor grosses me out. i've had to take it every now and then for 3 yrs and im still not used to it.. :disgust:

the first time i had that stuff, i drank it too fast so i had to drink an additional bottle.. 😱 learned my lesson. nice small sips..

Just come down here to Kentucky, and there's plenty of people who hang out in parking lots who will sell you a fake MRI for $50 so you can get your prescription for hillbilly heroin (read: oxycontin).

seriously, i hope you are ok! i've had torn muscles in my lower back, 6 weeks of PT @ 3 times a week is no fun...

ROFL

It shouldn't take more than 40 - 45 minutes. I just had neurosurgery on the 7th, had 4 MRI's in the last 3 months leading up to it. It is loud but they will give you earplugs, no big deal. They will probably put you in it for about 1/2 to 2/3 of the time, pull you out and inject some dye into your veins and then slide you back in for the rest. Not really a pleasant experience but it could certainly be a lot worse!

Just my .02 worth.

That was different:Q

Had to X-Ray my skull for metal shards because of past metal working. MRI only took 15 minutes.
I am glad that it is over!!!!

I have a real fear of hospitals, and doctors.

Thanks for the input guys!!🙂

I pity you, and hope you have an open MRI! If you get a closed one you can get really claustrophobic...not to mentium the clicking vibrating in the tube... (shivver)
