Have there been any Serial Killers where you live?

I just found out we had one here back in the late 1970's.

Nicknamed the "bedroom strangler", he killed at least 3 women here in London, Ontario and at least 3 in Guelph, Ontario. His name is Russel Johnson (no relation to the Professor on Gilligan's Island).

He would climb up the balconies of apt buildings looking for unlocked sliding doors. Then he would enter and rape and kill them, place them back in bed and pose them like nothing happened and even clean up the apt. :Q

Even weirder is that one of his victims was killed in my friends' apt building. I recognized the building while watching about this case on TV. My friend said his apt was the one she was killed in. Creepy.

He was arrested at the Ford Talbotville Assembly Plant. My father worked there at the time and told me about this killer's arrest there when I was younger.

we had only one serial killer, but we did have a 3 man robbery team working SWOntario back in the early '90's. Killed several people, dozens of brazen daylight robberies. Finally caught and arrested in ST. Thomas, Ontario. We did have a huge family massacre in the late 1800's in Lucan, Ontario. The trial was in London here. Very controversial case back then and still is today.

He's not a serial killer, but about 2 years ago a creep named Marcus Wesson murdered 9 of his children in his home in a dodgy part of town after some sort of custody dispute. One of them was born through incest with one of his daughters, who was also among those killed. That case was bizarre and sickening, for sure...

Yes, a couple in the last 2 years. My bro-inlaw was working the case as a detective. He showed me some crime scene photos that were s!ck!! One of the guys was cutting up the victims...once he ate part of her leg, the other he took her skin and tired to wear it. thought it would be cathartic. He was a bible believer too. When they found him he confessed to dozens more murders than they even knew about.

We had one in Baton Rouge a few years back. He actually killed a girl in my apartment complex.

Wesson was sentenced to the death penalty on June 27, 2005.

Thank God.

Not that I know of....Pretty Boy Floyd was killed near my home town.

I lived in Atlanta during the time Wayne Williams allegedly murdered the two dozen or so children/young men (he was only convicted of 2.)

I live in Tallahassee where Ted Bundy murdered the sorority women.
