Terrorists can't win because nothing is ever created through destruction. At best/worst they can only ever lower the quality of life in the prevailing society.

reasoning?

the government was trying to take away the 2nd amendment rights of just a few weeks ago. seems to be more worried about disarming its own law abiding citizens than terrorists.

Turrists did not cause Bush's second term, John Kerry and the Democrat party did. The blame resides squarely with them. If they hadn't run Mr. Botox, Bush Jr. would have been a single term'er. It's the same with Obama's re-election, most people don't love the guy and realize Hope and Change was a load of garbage, but Romney was not a suitable alternative.

Oh, not I. But, there are lots of folks out there that are fearful and seem like they're willing to give up lots of rights to feel safer. Someone already mentioned things the gubermint has done in the name of keeping us &#8221;safe&#8221;, and more of the same are being shoved our ways, and apathy reigns. Etc...

All those things changed our way of life...

Yep they won, in fact they even managed to outsource the terrorizing to the government so they can get back at what they do best: blowing stuff up for 72 virgins.
