Have some questions about the Noctua NH-D14 cooler

Wanting to buy this for my i7-975, and have a couple of questions.
1-Will this massive thing be to heavy for my asus sabertooth x58 MB.
2-How does it attach to the MB. I ask as I bought a diffrent cooler some time ago that had like plastic rivets to hold it. Not very secure.
3-Would this fit in a NXZT phantom case.
