I have a Asus A7V133 and a Athlon 1gig. My problem is when I try to go to jumperfree mode my system won't boot. Sometimes I can hit reset and it will post. I bought the CPU pretested off compuwiz which he unlocked. Could the CPU not be unlocked good? In jumper mode it will post @ 1.33 but I don't have good enough cooling to run it at that right now. It looks like he unlocked it some kind of tool as the bridges looks orangish colored. Could I maybe go over them with a pencil to make sure they are connected good? I havent tried to post at default with jumper mode though which I am sure it will work.

I updated to the latest BIOS to 1.07. Any suggestions?

No, don't go back over the traces. You could accidently mess up and then your PC would be screwed totally.

I have the same motherboard and CPU you have (my 1GHz is an AXIA overclocked to 1.4GHz) and it's in jumper free mode. If you have an AXIA don't worry about cooling unless you have some micro ATX case with limited air flow. I think it might be an AXIA because the other stepping wouldn't handle 1.33GHz.

Make sure ALL of the jumpers and dip switches are set for the jumper free mode.
