Have questions on Xfire Setup

Okey, i have a manditory dual monitor setup. One of my peeves on sli, was when you enabled sli, all your icons on the second montor would shift the first, and the second monitor would then shut off with sli enabled.

I am on the xfire platform now. Havent installed the cards yet in a build, but i cant get a definite answer. Can i use dual monitor setup and xfire at the same time?

I heard i just plug both monitors into card 1 and enable xfire?

The other option was the nvidia trick where you would add another gpu onto the third slot. The board is a DFI X38LT - T2R. But im wondering if i need to go out and pick up another vidcard just to run that second monitor or not.

As of Cat 8.1 you can enable dual monitors with Xfire, go for it.
