Hello,

Like the title says I have purchased a whole new system that Im building and I thought the Coolmax 600 watt would be fine as my old system had an older coolmax and it ran great... The problem is the coolmasx only has 1 of the plugs for PCI-E and my video card which is a GTX460 gigabyte overlocked series that requires 2 PCI-E slots to be used... Can I get by with 1 until I get a new powersupply or will it just not work...

thanks

If you have 2 spare 4pin molex plugs you can just get an adaptor to convert them into a 6 pin pci-e connector. It's not the ideal method but on a card like the gtx 460 that barely needs 2x 6 pin connectors you'll be fine. Also I believe the card will throttle itself if you only hook up one connector so it should work but you'll see less performance.
