Just bought this old card for 50 shipped offa some dude on H forums. Whatever I do, whenever I run the CMSS 3d test, with settings set to headphones, as the sound plays in a 360 circle it cuts out, at the diagonal areas of the circle, then I hear lots of crackling noise, at the other diagonal section of the circle. In fact I only hear the helicopter a little in front and behind the left and right channel markers. I have tried another pair of headphones and have fiddled with the settings for about 2 hours, both windows and creative control panel.
What I really like about this sound card is that it removes the hissing from my PX21's. UGH can anyone help me?
