So these parts have been ordered:

e6600
p5w dh deluxe
8800 gtx
mushkin extreme 8500

Now I need a PSU. On the extreme psu calculator it said 491w with the cpu at 3.0 (moderate oc). Here's what I had in mind after some reading.

Corsair 620w

FSP group fx 760-e ATX

Seasonic m12 ss-700hm

Would all of these suffice? I am open to any and all suggestions. I am also purchasing the Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 with the psu. I CAN'T WAIT!

Thanks for any help,

-mashed

Edit: Wait, what? You spent $360 on RAM to overclock an E6600? Jeez, post this kind of thread before ordering. For almost $200 less you could have bought this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231098 and got a 3.6Ghz overclock out of it (9x400FSB). Oh well, it's your money.

At 1:1. After reading This guide
I thought it would be better to run at 4:5. Perhaps the mushkin will let me tighten my timings. These parts are more of a gift than me purchasing them. (what a nice mother in-law)

Oh and thank you, I will be purchasing the corsair.

The Corsair will be just fine and about as quiet as it gets. Even if you added a second 8800GTX the PSU is still gonna suffice. It has an over 80% efficiency and a SLI 8800GTX rig doesn't draw more than ~450W so max 540W in total from the PSU. The corsair is made by Seasonic btw but has some improvements compared to the current S12s.

I remember reading an AT article that said the Intel Core2Duo systems run best at 1:1. Oh, and go for the Corsair.
