Have my first I.T. job interview tomorrow

Well I have my first interview for an I.T. job since I got out of school this past month. The job is a clinical systems analyist at the hospital I have worked at for the past 3 years. I really don't know what to expect since there is no real good description of the job except what I have read on the intraweb at work.

I don't want to some like a tool I know how to ask questions, but for instance when I first got into healthcare I really didn't know what to expect and as time went on and through experience I learned what to ask when applying for other healthcare jobs to find out some secrets of how the department is run and so forth...

I would appreciate it if anyone who can think of some good questions to ask during an interview about the position to help get a better idea of the position and to also help show I am interested in the job

Thanks in advance

I'd make sure to ask what kind of platforms they run their applications on. Not only will it give you an idea what the job is about, but it will help you decide if the place is the right place for you. For example, I doubt that someone who likes cutting-edge technology and Linux would be interested in being a sys-admin in a shop that is running mostly 5+ year old Windows NT servers.

These are the basic questions a person should ask during an interview:

1. How many sick days do you get?
2. How soon after you get hired can you take your vacation?
3. Is a criminal background check mandatory?
4. Is drinking during your lunch break permitted?
