Sorry if this thread belongs elsewhere... didn't really seem to belong to any particular forum, so here seemed ok.

I was just wondering if there's any way to get money form dell when their products go cheaper? I got the 2005fpw about a month ago for 486.75, and n ow it's below 400 every once in a while... anyone try getting a price change refund thingie?

You mean a "Low price guarantee" where a vendor will pricematch a past purchase within X days if the price of said item drops. I don't think Dell offers that.

damn... would they still take it back and give me a refund after a month? Then I could get a new one when a better deal comes along...

I know people have done it after a week or two... but how long will they go?
