I purchased Windows 7 through the student purchase program and got my license key, but the way the upgrade works is you download a 350k executable that installs 7 on top of XP over a broadband connection. Not exactly how I wanted to go about it. Plus I have a fresh drive that I wanted to use so I could keep my school/work PC running while I make the transition.

So my question is this: are there legit channels for obtaining an image that I can burn so I can do a clean install using my legit key?

Ignore this thread posted in haste... I see others here have dealt with this situation, so I just need to RTFF.
