Have IwillKa266Plus with AMD 1900+. After Bios upgrade and XP install it shows as 1500+ ??

I built my PC with the Iwill KA266Plus and AMD 1900+ processor. Anyway, I had 98SE on it with 512MB PC2100 RAM. I upgraded to XP, added 500 more MB of RAM and downloaded the latest BIOS. After all of this was installed I noticed during the boot screen that NOW it says my processor is a 1500+. Did I do something wrong here or is there something that I missed? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm new to this and figured some of you guys could help me out. I have other questions too but I'll stop at this one for now. I appreciate any advice given.
