I have a 754 2800+ with a chaintech VNF3-250 mobo.

Right now i am running at 2.3GHz with 256FSB, ratio of 9x, DRAM 166, CPU volt 1.6, mem volt 2.7.

I tired to run the FSB all the way up to 320 with a low ratio and it runs fine so thats not my limit. My ram can run at 220-225MHz so thats not the limit. I really think it is my CPU

If i try for 2.4 it will not pass Super_Pi. Do you guys see anything i missed. Or am i at the edge. BTW it runs at 2.35GHz.

Thanks,
Chris

Opps missed that.... Yes

What i am trying to figure out is if i should waste money on a better cooling solution. And i will only do that if it can get another 100-200MHz out of it. I'm thinking not likely.

I'll let you know in a week or so ;)
Getting a K8N Neo Plat board to go with my 3200+ Newcastle CG :D I plan on doing thorough benchmarks & OCing, so I'll write back when I'm done

Depends on which bios version i am useing. But it seems to stay around 56-58 when doing test. But before i updated my bios it was doing 54-56. So This is all just baseing off what the bios reads and we all know this can be wrong....

Ok. What kind of other stuff you getting? RAM? COOLING?
